The final of the competition took place in Bellaria Igea Marina, with the 19 finalist mothers selected from the winners of the regional selections held throughout Italy.

The winner of the title was Semou Diagne, 33, from Ancona, mother of Birima and Antonio, aged 17 and 9. Originally from Senegal, at 16 she became pregnant after being raped and decided to keep her baby. Thanks to international help, she was transferred to Italy, where she started a new life. Semou currently works as a bartender and is a volunteer first responder for 118 and an ambulance driver, and at the same time, she is studying to obtain a degree in nursing.
